Florida Median Income & other Statistics

According to Enterprise Florida, the median income for a family of four in Florida is $60,803.  Other statistics also reported are:

  • Statewide employment: 8.329 million
  • Gross state product: $6.74 billion (4th largest in the Nation)
  • Unemployment rate: 3.3%
  • Population: 18 million
  • Sarasota, Bradenton & Venice combined population: 687,711

  1. Hi, may i know the standard reference for median household income for all the states if it is a one family or like your article here family of four? When we say just plain median household income, what does it refer to? Thanks.

  2. Mediam income per household does not take into accound the size of the family. A family of four, five or six should have only two wage earners.
