The Palaza @ Five Points

June 14, 2006

The Plaza @ Five Points was completed early in 2006 is already one of my favorite condominiums in Sarasota’s fantastic downtown. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to take full advantage of Sarasota’s thriving downtown arts and entertainment offerings. Whole Foods Market is located on the same block as well are many restaurants, galleries and shops. Starbucks, Patrick’s restaurant, the library, the Golden Apple and First Watch are all located directly across the street.

The lifestyle afforded by the design of The Plaza is unique in Sarasota. Residents at The Plaza will enjoy the beautiful city and bay views from the amenity level with rooftop pool, Jacuzzi and outdoor patio. Additionally, residents will enjoy the benefit of the commercial space within the building where they may set up their own corporate headquarters and conduct their personal banking.

Though valet parking is available at The Plaza, a car is scarcely needed. In fact, living at the Plaza is the Sarasota equivalent of living on 5th Avenue along New York’s Central Park or on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. There is even a outdoor pavilion with a fireplace. The 16 story building contains a mix of 50 luxury condominiums, 87,000 square feet of Class A office space and 15,000 square feet of retail. The 50 luxury units range in size from 1,595 to 2,356 square feet.

There were 30 closed sales during the past 6 months. Many of those sales were actually assignments of the original preconstruction sales. Unlike much of the market in which many building have 10 percent or more of their units for sale, The Plaza at five points currently has only 2 available units. The two available units for purchase are a 1,825 square foot two bedroom unit priced at $1,350,000 and a 1,831 square foot two bedroom units priced at $949,000. In addition to these there is one pending transaction at $925,000. Click here to obtain more information on the Plaza @ Five Points.
